Responsible luxury: where elegance and sustainability harmonize

Instalación sostenible de Cartier en Villa Reale di Marlia con vitrinas impresas en 3D.

In the incomparable setting of Villa Reale di Marlia , in the Italian Tuscany, we developed an exclusive installation for Cartier together with Patricia Urquiola . This project represents a meeting between tradition and avant-garde, where 3D printing is put at the service of high jewelry to create an innovative and sustainable space.

Cartier: Luxury and responsible innovation

Cartier , world-renowned for its excellence in jewelry, relied on experimentation with materials and technologies for this installation. The objective was clear: to create a setting that reflected the luxury characteristic of the maison, but that also projected a vision of the future based on environmental responsibility .

3D-printed display cases: aesthetics and precision

The core of the installation consisted of custom display cases manufactured using 3D printing . Each piece was designed to highlight Cartier's new collection, combining a sophisticated texture with precise and functional geometry.

3D printing technology made it possible to reduce material waste and optimize resource use, while guaranteeing a top-quality result. Compared to traditional methods, this process provided a more efficient and sustainable alternative, aligned with Cartier's philosophy.

The gold-transparency gradient: a tribute to diamonds

One of the most distinctive features of the project was the gradient finish of the display cases , which smoothly transitions from gold to transparency. This effect evokes the luminosity of diamonds , an eternal icon of Cartier, and provides a unique visual language to the installation. The combination of aesthetic luxury and sustainable awareness defines this collaboration as an example of how the values of quality, innovation and responsibility coexist in the world of high jewelry.

Cartier and sustainability in high jewelry

The collaboration between Cartier, Patricia Urquiola, and Nagami paves the way for a new language in jewelry exhibition: one where traditional craftsmanship is enriched with digital technology and where luxury is expressed with responsible materials.

This project reinforces Cartier's position as a visionary house, capable of transforming the concept of ephemeral installation into an experience that transcends aesthetics to become a statement of principles: luxury must be beautiful, innovative and sustainable .
