Héctor Serrano

Héctor Serrano is a design studio founded in London in 2000. They create products and spaces that people are attracted to in the most humane, emotional and extraordinary way possible. The quest to bring innovation and character, while maintaining timelessness, simplicity and attention to detail, is a constant in each of their projects.

Their clients include firms and institutions such as Roca, “la Caixa” Foundation, Telefónica Foundation, Coachella Art and Music Festival, Noken by Porcelanosa, ICEX (Spanish Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade), Muji, FontanaArte, Gandia Blasco, Droog Design, Lexon, Lékué and Seletti among others. They have received numerous awards such as the Red Dot Design Award, Designer of the Year 2009 by the prestigious AD magazine, Best of the Year Awards by Interior Design Magazine and the Peugeot Design Award. Their products have been exhibited extensively in museums such as the V&A in London and the Cooper-Hewit National Design Museum in New York and are part of several collections such as the Central Museum in Amsterdam. In 2010 tehy founded Borealis, the company in charge of their exhibition and installation projects.
